The Delivery Driver is responsible for timely and efficient distribution of product to customers, as well as representing the bakery in a professional manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Delivering products to both retail and food service establishments throughout Grand Rapids and surrounding areas
Loading, unloading and operating delivery van
Communicating with wholesale customers/store employees
Picking up bakery supplies while on delivery routes
This position may also offer extra shifts/hours assisting with other aspects of the business such as packaging, labeling, cleaning and baking (if previously trained in baking).
Follow Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards
Drive and maintain delivery vehicle in a manner that positively represents Kind Crumbs
Job Requirements:
Valid drivers license
Good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Careful attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently
Commitment to not using a smartphone or other electronic device while operating delivery vehicle, unless vehicle is equipped with hands-free calling, etc.
Ability to lift and move 10-30 pound boxes or bags repeatedly throughout the day
Positive attitude
